Personalized, scientifically-based fitness assessments
FitPro is a fitness assessment program designed to provide scientifically based, personalized assessments of physical fitness to community members, UNLV students, and University staff. Testing is conducted by faculty in the Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences — or by graduate students under faculty supervision.
Available tests
Body Composition
Assessment of body fat percentage, lean mass, and hydration status.
Sub-maximal Test
Treadmill or cycle-based estimate of aerobic fitness.
Running VO2max
Graded treadmill test for maximal aerobic capacity.
Cycling VO2max
Graded cycle ergometer test for maximal aerobic capacity.
